While millions of people are unemployed and struggling to make ends meet
in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, Senate Majority Leader Mitch
McConnell is only laser-focused on one thing: confirming anti-choice
judges.^1

There are so many fights happening right now, but this one is especially
important. Federal judges receive lifetime appointments, and the Trump
administration is filling these posts at breakneck speed — thanks to the
president's cronies in the Senate, nearly 200 of Trump’s judges have been
confirmed to date.^2

During a recent appearance on a conservative radio show, McConnell made

long-game to take over our courts since the 1970s. Their focus on the
judiciary is intended to ensure that even when they’re voted out of power
in Congress or the White House, conservative judges will advance their
out-of-touch agenda by siding with Republican challenges to progressive
legislation — from enabling voter suppression to trying to ban
