I’ve spent months writing to you in support of some of my favorite Social Security champions. In my last email before Election Day, I want to tell you about one more candidate — Social Security champion Christina Bohannan.

Bohannan is running for U.S. House in Iowa, to unseat the appropriately-named Trump puppet Mariannette Miller-Meeks. Miller-Meeks is an enemy of our earned benefits — she wants to privatize both Social Security and Medicare, and raise the retirement age.

Bohannan, on the other hand, knows firsthand how important our earned benefits are. Bohannan says that when her father got sick, “Social Security and Medicare were absolute lifelines for our family, and I see that right now in Iowa with families that need those programs to get by.”

A new poll shows Bohannan in the lead — and also shows Kamala Harris leading Trump in Iowa, powered by women and older voters.
