Here’s what you need to know: -
Polling places are open from 7 AM to 8 PM. If you’re in line when your polling place closes, STAY IN LINE! You will be allowed to vote.
- Voting by mail? Your ballot must be postmarked by tomorrow, Tuesday, November 5 or submitted via drop box by Tuesday, November 5 at 8 PM. Find a drop box near you here.
-
Most voters will not need to show an ID at the polls. You may be asked to show a valid ID if you are a first-time voter, voting for the first time in Washington D.C., your voter registration is inactive, your ballot is challenged, or you registered by mail and did not provide ID with your registration. Find a list of approved IDs here.
- Not yet registered to vote? Not a problem! D.C. has same-day voter registration, so you can register at the polls when you arrive to vote tomorrow.
-
Candidates for President, House of Representatives, City Council, and other local offices are on your ballot this election cycle. Look up your ballot before you go vote at WeAll.Vote/voterhub.
What are you waiting for? It’s time to find your polling place and make your voice heard tomorrow! >>> |
