When I first announced my candidacy for re-election to the U.S. Senate, I had a strong faith that we’d be successful — not because of any poll, but because my life experiences have taught me that Virginians are stand-up people, not tear-down people.
In good times and bad, Virginians are not mean-spirited, pessimistic, name-calling complainers. We are upbeat, can-do, roll-up-our-sleeves, and get-the-job-done people.
We stand up for what’s right. And most importantly, we stand up for each other.
That’s what I’ve tried my very best to do in my career in the U.S. Senate, as mayor of Richmond, and as Governor of our great Commonwealth. And if you’re willing to help me out on this final day of campaigning, it’s what I’ll continue to do as your U.S. Senator in 2025 and beyond.
With just one day left to get out the vote, I need to ask for your support: Will you pitch in a few bucks to help me reach every single Democrat across our Commonwealth and get them to the polls?
