Election Day is tomorrow, Tuesday, November 5.  

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

If you have not already cast your ballot at an early voting site or by absentee, all registered voters in Michigan can vote at their polling place tomorrow, on Election Day. 

If you are not yet registered, you still have time to register and vote in this election! Unregistered voters have until 8 p.m. on Election Day to visit their local clerk’s office to register and can vote while at their clerk’s office with an absentee ballot or go to their polling place to vote if time allows. Registered voters can cast their ballot at their polling place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.  

As long as you’re in line by 8 p.m., you’ll be allowed to cast your vote.   

If you have not yet registered, you still have time to register and vote in this election! Unregistered voters, or voters who have not updated their registration to their current address, have until 8 p.m. on Election Day to visit their local clerk’s office with proof of residency to register to vote or make updates. To vote, they may either request an absentee ballot and vote at their clerk's office or go to their polling place to vote if time allows. So long as an eligible, unregistered resident is in line at their clerk’s office by 8 p.m., they may register to vote and cast an absentee ballot. If you have filled out an absentee ballot at home, it is now too late to return it in the mail. Your completed absentee ballot must be received by your city or township clerk by 8 p.m. on Election Day. At this time, you should hand-deliver your absentee ballot to your clerk’s office. You can also bring your absentee ballot to your Election Day polling place to place into a tabulator yourself. If you decide to do so, bring your ballot in the envelope provided by the clerk, and election inspectors will assist you in tabulating your ballot.
