Dinovember!
Please join us this month as we celebrate Dinovember. We have Dino-themed scavenger hunts and coloring sheets all month long. Many of our programs will also feature our prehistoric friends! We are planning a ROARing good time!
Family Fun Night: Outdoor Dino Scavenger Hunt

Celebrate Dinovember with us! Grab the family and the flashlights to hunt for dinosaurs around the Library Park!
Brown Bag Book Club
Thursday, November 7, 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Do you like books? Do you want to talk about it? Join us in the Reading Alcove at noon on the first Thursday of every month for Brown Bag Book Club!
For November, we're discussing "Did Ye Hear Mammy Died?" by Seamas O'Reilly.
For December, we're reading "The Violin Conspiracy" by Brendan Slocumb.
Veterans Day Display

The Hurst Public Library wants to recognize our incredible service members this November, but we can't do it alone! If you're a veteran, an active service member, or have one in the family, we'd love your help. Email pictures to [email protected] with the first name and branch of service, and we'll include them in our slideshow.
Story Laboratory: Dino-mite Science!
Tuesday, November 12, 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Come to Story Laboratory this month for a ROARing good time by learning all about dinosaurs, fossils, and maybe even see a dino visitor!
This program will be held in Program Room East.
Holiday Card Making
Thursday, November 14, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Learn how to create handmade holiday cards with local craft maven Kathryn Gunter. She will show you techniques for making cards that are beautiful enough to be the gift themselves.
This program will be held in the Learning Center.
Texas Bluebonnet Award Book Club
Tuesday, November 19, 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Kids in grades 3-6 and a caregiver can dig deep into this year's Texas Bluebonnet Award List at Bluebonnet Book Club! For November, we'll be reading The Guardian Test by Christina Soontornvat.
This program will be held in the Reading Alcove.
Teen Friendsgiving
Tuesday, November 26, 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Have fun and feast with friends! Munch on goodies and watch a classic Thanksgiving movie. Open to grades 6-12.
This program will be held in the Teen Zone.
Library Closed in Observance of Thanksgiving
Thursday, November 28 to Friday, November 29
The Library is closed on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29, in observance of Thanksgiving. The Library will reopen at our usual time, Saturday, November 30, at 10:00 a.m.
