John,
The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), in collaboration with the CDC, is offering grants of up to $50,000 each to support local action teams dedicated to violence prevention, particularly in communities impacted by high rates of youth and firearm-related violence.
NACCHO will fund up to six awards for their Youth and Community Violence Prevention Action Teams (VPAT) project, targeting efforts that focus on reducing violence affecting communities of color. This is a unique opportunity for local organizations to secure the support they need to make impactful, lasting change.
For those interested in learning more about this request for proposal (RFP), NACCHO will host an optional information session on Friday, November 12 at 2:00 PM ET. This session is a great way to dive deeper into the requirements, hear directly from NACCHO representatives, and ask any questions.
