Together, we’ve changed the way we talk about gun violence in the US. We’ve made huge strides in federal and state legislation. Even still, we have a lot of work left to do.
Every week we’re bombarded with news of another mass shooting. It seems like an endless onslaught. It’s not lost on me how discouraging this can feel. But believe me, we’re making progress.
We’re chipping away at the power of the gun lobby, and they’re getting weaker because of the power of this movement. Young people have fought like hell to fight back against the NRA. And John — it’s working.
