If you've been following the news, you know that Congress has been passing legislation to bring billions of dollars in aid to individuals and companies -- especially small businesses -- to help them weather the economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ending big money's corruptive influence on our politics matters now more than ever, when Congress is working on multi-trillion-dollar aid packages to manage a nationwide crisis. I can tell you from experience: When members of Congress are thinking about how to vote on bills, far too many of them think about where their next big check is coming from.

I didn't rely on corporate PACs, lobbyists, or other members of Congress to win my seat -- I relied on you. If you can (and only if you can), will you make a donation to my campaign so we can win again in November?

Every day, I am working with my colleagues on additional legislation to navigate our country through this crisis. While doing so, I am thinking of you -- because I'm not indebted to anyone else.

I continue to be the only Member of Congress that doesn't take money from lobbyists, PACs, and even other Members of Congress. I do this to ensure you know I only hold the interest of those I represent in mind when working every day to address this crisis.

I'll continue to throw my full support behind measures to help the working people and small businesses that need it most. If my colleagues press for corporate bailouts, I'll push to hold those corporations accountable for funds they receive -- just like I did at the end of March, when I introduced the COVID-19 Congressional Oversight Panel Act in the House.

Big corporations know that I'm not working for them, and they're going to spend a lot of money in our district this summer and fall to try to defeat me. And with Donald Trump and the GOP laying plans to turn Minnesota red this year, winning a second term won't be easy without help from grassroots supporters like you.
