My name may not be on the ballot this time around, but that doesn’t mean I’m sitting this election out. Like you, I’ll be eagerly watching as the election results come in tomorrow night, and hopefully celebrating wins for our community, our county, and our country.
This is it, friend!
Tomorrow is Election Day, which means that months of knocking doors, calling neighbors, and working hard to get out the vote are coming to an end.
Just over 24 hours from now, I hope we’ll all be celebrating wins from the top of the ticket with our first woman president down the ballot to local wins throughout San Diego County.
But before we can celebrate, there’s one crucial thing left to do: VOTE!
My name may not be on the ballot this time around, but that doesn’t mean I’m sitting this election out.
With Vice President Kamala Harris poised to make history, good friends of mine like Assemblymember Akilah Weber, Dr. LaShae Sharp Collins, and San Diego Council President Sean Elo-Rivera running in competitive races, and propositions that address critical issues like criminal justice reform and affordable housing on the ballot, there are a lot of important choices to make this election.
Like you, I’ll be eagerly watching as the election results come in tomorrow night, and hopefully celebrating wins for our community, our county, and our country.
