Whether we agree on every issue or not is beside the point. Everyone deserves a government that works for them – not just for special interests, big corporations, or the extremes of either party.

That’s why more than seven out of every ten bills I’m supporting are bipartisan.

I’ve made it a priority to work with Republicans and Democrats on major legislation that makes a difference for Kansans.

That’s includes stopping surprise medical bills, standing up to China by strengthening U.S. manufacturing and supply chains to rein in inflation, and by rebuilding Kansas roads and bridges.

In fact, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law I helped pass is a great example.

As a member of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, I worked with local Republicans and Democrats, my colleagues in both parties in the House, and the White House to help get that bill over the finish line. I held multiple conversations with senior officials to make sure Kansas was always part of the conversation.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce says it’s fiscally responsible. And now, it’s making a difference for Kansans. That includes everything from modernizing U.S. 69 in Overland Park, expanding K-68 in Louisburg, and replacing lead pipes in Olathe.

I understand people are frustrated with partisanship and extremism. I’ve felt that same frustration myself. While I believe in my values and principles, I’ll always work with anyone of good faith in either party to make a difference for Kansans.

I’m here to bring a new generation of leadership to Washington.
