Hi John, this is Eve, Adam’s wife. And yes, it’s Adam and Eve — what can we say, it was meant to be.
Tomorrow is Election Day, when voters across California will have the chance to vote for the man I know and love deeply. And with your ongoing support, I’m hopeful that my husband will become California’s next U.S. Senator.
I’ve been lucky enough to be by Adam’s side through so many campaigns — some that ended in sweet victory, and others that ended in defeat. Through it all, Adam has remained committed to his values and his endless pursuit of making a difference for the hard-working people of our state.
John, I said this about Adam when he launched his campaign for Senate last January: Adam is a decent, moral person. What you see is what you get. He comes across that way when you see him on TV, and that’s the way he is at home. He is scrupulously honest — always following the letter of the law, doing the right thing.
Which is why it so infuriates and upsets me when I see him villainized by Donald Trump and by Fox News.
In recent weeks, Trump has turned up the volume and frequency of his baseless attacks against Adam. He is pretty tough and has weathered the storm well, but I’ll admit it — the viciousness of what he has endured concerns me.
That’s why I’m hoping we can join together to vote against Donald Trump — and vote for someone who will stand up for what’s right, no matter what. That’s my husband, Adam.
