Here is today's Kansas Commission on Disability Concerns (KCDC) Disability News message. I hope you have a wonderful day. Martha Martha K. Gabehart | Executive Director [email protected] | www.kcdcinfo.ks.gov ***** In the lead up to November 5, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Kansas is engaging in election protection efforts, which includes ensuring that disabled voters have proper access to the polls as required by state and federal law. Our non-partisan Election Protection program includes volunteer poll monitors, as well as responding to issues reported to the Election Protection assistance hotline. If members of the community encounter issues with casting a vote, we strongly encourage them to call the hotline: 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683). Callers can speak to a trained attorney who can help them resolve their issues so that they can cast a ballot. ***** Job Vacancy Announcements The US Fish and Wildlife Service continues to list new job vacancies and internships on their website.
