In Colorado, we have a gold standard for managing our elections and a commitment to ensuring every eligible vote is counted.
Our office recently issued a public advisory, making clear that any effort to intimidate voters is a crime and will be taken seriously. You can read more about that on Fox 31 [[link removed]] .
Friend, If you know of any Colorado voter intimidation efforts today or tomorrow, please report it to us immediately. Here’s the advisory [[link removed]] we issued on voting rights, with guidance on handling illegal conduct.
When the votes are counted tomorrow night, We the People will be heard.
In Colorado, I am confident the message we send will champion protecting freedom, including reproductive rights and marriage equality—both of which are on the ballot this fall.
Nationally, we have the opportunity not only to protect freedom, but make history by electing the first woman and first Black woman as our President, who, not to mention, is also a former State Attorney General!
I recognize that we live in a time of rising misinformation, threats to undermine elections, and increasing demonization and distrust. I, along with other State Attorneys General, am prepared for whatever comes after Election Day. In 2020, our legal and election systems held, even in the face of an unprecedented attack on the peaceful transition of power on January 6th.
We cannot take our democratic republic for granted. Please vote. Please stand up against and report any voter intimidation.
