It’s our birthday! We’re turning 103 and we’re celebrating.Â
We’re celebrating Michael Joseph Savage carrying the very first piece of furniture into the very first state house back in 1937.
We’re celebrating David Lange for leading us to a nuclear-free New Zealand.Â
We’re celebrating KiwiBank, Kiwisaver, Working for Families, the New Zealand Superannuation Fund, Homosexual Law Reform and the packed galleries in Parliament rising in song after Labour’s Marriage Equality Bill passed.
These are Labour achievements. This is the legacy of our party.
Since day one, Labour has been a grassroots movement. Our Party’s home has always been in community halls, living rooms, local marae and school halls; places where people from different backgrounds can come together through a shared belief that we can solve the challenges facing our country by working together.Â
But grassroots movements take real resources and thousands of people chipping in what they can.
John, can you chip in today? <[link removed]>Even just a few dollars can make a difference to our movement and help us prepare a winning election campaign for Jacinda and the Team.
Chip in to our 2020 Election Campaign Fund <[link removed]>
Every contribution, no matter what size, makes a difference!
Thanks so much,
The Labour team
