Dear Friend of MCV Action Fund,

Happy Election Day Eve!

If you haven't yet voted and plan to go to the polls tomorrow, we wanted to share some info before you head out:

1. If you still have an absentee ballot, DO NOT MAIL IT. Bring it to your town clerk's office or a drop box location [[link removed]] in your town today or tomorrow before 8 PM.

2. Not sure where to vote? Find your polling place here [[link removed]] . And if you’re not yet registered to vote, don’t worry – you can register at the polls! Just make sure you bring an ID and proof of your Maine residency (for example, a Maine driver’s license, vehicle registration, or tax documents– see a longer list here [[link removed]] ).

3. Wondering which candidates on your ballot support the environment and climate action? Enter your address into this cool Climate Candidate Guide [[link removed]] to find out.

4. MCV Action Fund supports a YES vote on Question 4 to support Maine trails. Learn more about the Maine Trails Bond here. [[link removed]]

5. MCV Action Fund urges you to decline to sign the voter suppression initiative which you’ll probably be asked to support as you leave your polling place on Election Day. The extremist “Voter ID for ME” campaign would severely limit Mainers’ ability to vote absentee, take control of elections away from local, nonpartisan officials, and create one of the strictest voter ID laws in the country. This initiative could place unnecessary burdens on seniors, minorities, people with disabilities, low-income voters, and students. Learn more here. [[link removed]]

6. If you run into any problems at the polls or have questions about how to vote on election day, you can call or text the League of Women Voters hotline at (207) 558-3333 .
