With Election Day tomorrow, many of us are anxiously awaiting the results. But President Obama has an important reminder:

'It's also important for people like you to keep your eye on the long game. Because if we all do our part and get involved in this fight, we can make our democracy stronger and more resilient.'

The truth is there is no “offseason” in our line of work. Gerrymandering poses a critical threat to our democracy, with opponents of fair maps actively undermining redistricting reforms, elevating election deniers, and threatening mid-decade partisan map redraws.

And as NDRC Chair Eric H. Holder, Jr. reminds us:

'There is no cavalry coming. No miracle solution. No saviors. It's up to all of us - the voters - to raise our voices and to reject the anti-democracy agenda at the ballot box. We are the cavalry. The responsibility is ours.'

Yes, we need to do everything we can to win tomorrow.
