I know it’s late, John – with less than 48 hours until Election Day there’s no time to waste.

There are a lot of moving pieces in this toss-up race. National Republicans are increasing their attacks in an attempt to overwhelm our efforts to flip CA‑27 blue.

Running for office was never on my bingo card. But when I witnessed just how out of touch and extreme Mike Garcia was, I knew I had to act.

I’ve spent my entire career – from NASA chief under President Obama to creating 700+ jobs in the Antelope Valley and Santa Clarita – dedicated to this district. I’ll do exactly the same in Congress.

We’ve created a strong coalition of support in this campaign over the past year and a half. Meanwhile, Garcia has tried to distance himself from his votes for a national abortion ban that our community overwhelmingly is against.

I’m not buying it, and I know you’re with me. We’re polling slightly ahead of Garcia in the run-up to the election, but he’s called on his super PAC buddies to invest nearly $16 million in attacks against us in the final hour.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but the outcome here will decide control of the House majority. We deserve better than MAGA.

So please, before you turn in for the night, will you chip in $3 to fund our voter outreach through Tuesday? There are still thousands of undecided voters that we need to reach with our message.
