I've been saying for a while, AZ election law- much of which I've supported or sponsored- is MUCH better than it was in 2020 or even 2022. That gives us better legal options when we take malfeasance to court.
That's happening across the country too!
For instance, in PA we won a case at the PA Supremes to not accept ballots with a late date or no date!
This was a YUGE win for election integrity!
Also in Michigan, where Dem Secretary of State Benson was dragged to court over a number of violations, one judge on the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals called her a "threat to democracy" in a ruling against her!
These two should help us in the Midwest!
And finally, here in Arizona, Dem Secretary of State Fontes was ordered by a judge to hand over the list of people who registered to vote without proof of citizenship.
He can't cheat like he used to. The laws are better, we have more experience in court and the judges know what to look for.
2024 is different.
This is what good election integrity law can do.
It protects us by giving us a better basis to drag the cheaters to court. They may try, but their options are more limited now.
