** Dear Members and Partners,
------------------------------------------------------------
Our Grounded Solutions team recognizes the critical front line work you all are doing to support the increasingly vulnerable communities all around us. We also understand that everyone is coping with a variety of daily personal challenges in the COVID-19 world. All of us are adapting as best we can to the uncertainty, urgently shifting resources to address the potential foreclosure and eviction consequences of the expanding national economic crisis. Rest assured that our network is strong, united and clear in our priorities for the preservation of human lives and the expansion of secure quality housing for the benefit of all, now more than ever.

Regretfully, due to a variety of factors well beyond our control, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Intersections 2020 in Minneapolis. Grounded Solutions' commitment to the health and safety of all members, partners, conference participants and sponsors remains our highest priority. It has become apparent that over the coming months, only essential travel will be advisable for those among us who remain virus-free before the successful implementation of widespread testing or a proven vaccine becomes widely available. We also anticipate the federal Center for Disease Control guidelines, as well as the State of Minnesota and City of Minneapolis social gathering and attendance limitations, will likely remain in some extended form throughout the entire fall season. The most stringent of those applicable standards must be adhered to by us all to limit the spread and human toll of COVID-19.

Grounded Solutions continues to offer you virtual access to our ongoing programming, training, technical assistance and resources. We also invite all members to join our May 27th Virtual Member-Only Town Hall ([link removed]) to learn more about our collective evolving COVID-19 relief and response work. To better inform our understanding of your organization's specific COVID-19 work and potential needs for support, please take a few minutes to complete our latest online member survey ([link removed]) . Your responses will be shared during our upcoming May 27th Town Hall event to advance our collective dialogue around the common challenges we all face during the months ahead.

I urge you all to please continue taking all necessary precautions to remain both safe and healthy!

** We bring together an extensive network of partners and member practitioners from local communities who have a deep understanding of best practices in community land trusts, shared equity housing, local housing policies such as inclusionary zoning, and more.

At Grounded Solutions Network, we know what policies and strategies work to build and preserve housing opportunities, and we help communities use them.
