But today, I’m writing to you as the son of school teachers. As the father of a daughter who deserves the same rights and freedoms that her mother and women before her had. As a concerned American citizen.

And look, having played a politician in Parks and Rec, I know a thing or two about what to look for in a leader: someone you can trust to take on the tough fights, who will always deliver meaningful change, and who won’t build a winter sports complex in his hometown (Ok, last one is an inside joke).

But reproductive rights, climate protections, and our democracy are no joke, and I’ve been proud to team up with Adam to fight for them.
