I know we've been sending you a lot of emails this week, but I needed to reach out and explain something real quick: With just a few hours left until our FEC deadline, I'm worried we might fall short.

While every deadline we face is important, this one is especially so -- it's the first one since our campaign surged into the lead and the first since McConnell's corporate donor network booked over $100 million in negative attack ads against candidates like Steve Bullock.

In order to cement our momentum in this race and defend Steve from McConnell's attacks, we need a surge of individual donations before the deadline tonight at midnight. So, I'm asking:

Rush an urgent contribution before our FEC deadline to ensure our campaign reports a strong number of individual grassroots donations and has the resources to fight back and win:

Steve is determined to win this election the right way, which is why we're not taking any money from corporate PACs. And when we win this thing, we'll be one step closer to fixing our broken campaign finance system and getting our government back to work for the people.
