Friend,
The anti-Democratic party has been
rationalizing their lawfare to kick Jill off the ballot across the
country with the weak excuse that they are just trying to uphold the
onerous election legislation they’ve passed to block our ballot
access. Last night they exposed themselves as total hypocrites.
Kamala’s appearance on Saturday Night Live (SNL) was a brazen
violation of the FCC’s equal time rule, according to an FCC
Commissioner. The Commissioner wrote: “This is a
clear and blatant effort to evade the FCC’s Equal Time
rule.”
While not surprising that media
outlets like NBC would collude with the Democrats in the eleventh hour
of the election, it is quite bold considering the SNL Executive
Producer, Lorne Michaels, acknowledged months back he knew these
exact rules existed. Mr. Michaels stated previously that they wouldn’t
put Harris or Trump on SNL before the election during an
interview:
“You
can’t bring the actual people who are running on because of election
laws and the equal time
provisions.”
Lorne then goes on to admit that
part of the reason for not having the pro-genocide, duopoly parties on
is because there are “minor” candidates also on the ballot. If SNL
tried to adhere to the equal time rule, they would have to have those
“minor” candidates on the show too, and that “becomes really
complicated.”
It isn’t complicated though.
The Lornes of the world don’t want to give Jill any
airtime because they are owned by the same special interests that
control the duopoly candidates: war and Wall Street.
Corporate run media will
do all it can to prevent voters from knowing that they have an
anti-genocide, pro-worker, climate emergency choice in this
election.
This is why we have to rely on
grassroots action to get out the vote for Jill. While NBC is busy
flaunting election rules for the Dems, our team is text-banking, phone
banking, buying billboards, and writing letters to the editor to break
through the media silence.
But,
