For generations, presidential candidates have cited their past records as evidence for why voters should send them to the White House.
Governors, for example, have boasted about their successful state programs while promising to replicate those smaller-scale triumphs nationally. And senators are quick to reference bills they’ve supported that became popular laws.
Interestingly, Kamala Harris has shied away from that practice. Everyone knows her vice presidential resume is a disaster, but she’s barely referenced her time atop California’s government hierarchy either. It’s obvious why.
California used to be a paradise. Then Kamala Harris happened.
Lawyer Chris Moritz watched the whole thing happen, and he joined today’s Tucker Carlson Show to reflect on Harris’s failed leadership, preview the damage her presidency would do, and more. Click the image below to watch.
Chris Moritz tells Tucker:
“Given the multi-faceted nature of this dysfunction and the complexity of the problems and the entrenched interest groups that do not have any incentive to modify a system that has enriched them, I don’t know how [California will ever be fixed].”
