“Deep gratitude to the entire Bend the Arc team for bringing
us together to learn, support and challenge one another, and build
power. Such an inspiring gathering! May these two days fuel our
collective action.”

Last week’s Pursuing Justice 2020
Online was a powerful multi-racial, multi-ethnic convening of over
1,200 activists, organizers, and leaders from across our progressive
world.
We learned together in sessions about the
disability justice movement, how white supremacy is
baked into all of our institutions, the disparate impact of COVID-19 on black and
brown communities, and how we
can ground our activism in Jewish ritual and meaning
(and so much
more!).
We got
many requests for full videos, and we’re thrilled to now offer
three full-length videos featuring Naomi Klein,
Alicia Garza, and our very own
Stosh Cotler, plus a curated series of shorter clips of
powerful moments. Check them all out below.
Opening Plenary
Closing
Plenary
Interview with Reps. Rashida
Tlaib and Andy Levin
Eric Ward and Naomi Klein speak
powerfully about the stakes of the COVID-19 pandemic and what it means
to reclaim our humanity.
Rashad Robinson, President of Color of
Change, shares about racial justice as strategy — and how we must
create consequences for those who believe in and enable racism and
white nationalism.
Alicia Garza speaks on grief,
mutual aid, and how we show up for each other in times of
crisis.
Naomi Klein shares her analysis of the political moment we're in
— and what it will take to make lasting, meaningful
change.
Bend the Arc CEO, Stosh Cotler, opens
Pursuing Justice 2020 Online with powerful remarks on Jewish
solidarity and what it means to be effective allies for justice.
In the closing plenary (linked
above), Alicia Garza said: We must also believe that freedom is possible, carrying that
conviction with us through the worst of times.
We choose to believe that freedom is possible. We choose to
work together to make it so. Thank you for choosing this path with
us.
We
hope this incredible video content from Pursuing Justice 2020 Online
strengthens your connection, commitment, and faith.
