Kara Eastman won her primary last night in Nebraska’s 2nd district! Now
she’s facing off against the incumbent Republican Don Bacon in November.

In 2018, Kara lost to Bacon by less than 5,000 votes. She came so close to
defeating him and flipping the district blue — more resources, more
contributions could have made the difference.

In 2020 we have to be sure Kara has the resources to organize like never
before and win in November. We’re counting on JD’s across the country to
help Kara win in November. That’s why we’re asking today:

Kara’s win last night is a major victory for the progressive movement.
After the DCCC tried to recruit a candidate against her, Kara won over the
voters in her district anyway and showed that progressive values can win
in Nebraska.

Kara will be a true fighter for our values in Congress, she understands
that the working-class people in her district deserve a representative in
Congress who will put their interests first. That’s why she’s committed to
working for Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, tuition-free public
college, and more.

Kara can defeat Republican Don Bacon and we can elect another Justice
Democrat to Congress, but we need your support,
