Lincoln's Daily Devotional

One of the many subjects about which we receive numerous questions is the religious faith of our Founding Fathers and other important historical figures--such as President Abraham Lincoln. We just added a new historical reprint to our store that addresses this latter question!

Lincoln carried in his pocket a spiritual book of days, titled A Believer’s Daily Treasure, originally published in the mid-1800s by the Religious Tract Society of London. It includes one year of Scripture verses and daily devotionals (138 pages) on topics such as: The True Believer, Evidences of the Believer, Joys of the Believer, and more. The introduction to this reprint was written by award-winning historian Carl Sandburg, who said this work was “new testimony that he [Lincoln] was a man of profound faith.”

You can now have and use your own copy of this favorite work of Lincoln! Order yours today!
