What are we going to do with the extra hour, John?
If you don't know what I'm talking about, check your clocks! Because today is Daylight Savings . Last night, our clocks fell back by an hour, giving us an extra hour in our day and just enough time to save democracy.
Tuesday is election day and if you haven't voted yet, make a plan today . It won't even take a full hour to plan it out. To get started, you need the answer to four simple questions:
First, are you registered to vote? If not, you can register at the polling locations. For more information, click the button below. [[link removed]]

Second, where is your polling location? If you're not sure, click the button below. [[link removed]]

Third, what is a good time for you to vote? Maybe voting today or Monday is better for you than on election day. Your vote will count no matter which day you vote on, as long as you vote before the polls close on Tuesday night. And, I wish I had a magic button to tell you which day works best in your schedule to go and vote, but I'm sure you know!
Fourth and final, who are you going to vote for? For some folks this is a difficult question, but here's my advice: vote for the candidates who will Stand Tall for All. That means vote for candidates who will fight for abortion rights, public education, and the hard-working families that make Iowa a great place to live. Do your research, read about the candidates, and see what they stand for, so when you're in the polling booth you know exactly who will Stand Tall for All.
Voting is what strengthens democracy and we only have a few days left to do it. So, it's vital that you show up and vote before it's too late, but don't go alone. Bring your friends and family along too. By growing our grassroots movement, we can bring our community together, strengthen democracy, and Stand Tall for All Iowans.
Stand Tall for All,
J.D.
