For far too long, progressives have failed to engage effectively on matters of national security. But as we have witnessed with the COVID-19 pandemic, access to housing, health care, education, food insecurity, immigration and over-policing are national security issues — and we can’t afford to allow conservative voices dominate the discussion on national security any longer.

On this call, we’ll deconstruct and reconstruct how we think about national security, true anti-racist public safety, and talk about why there is always endless money for war, but never enough money to tackle other national security priorities like climate change and improving our infrastructure.

It’s time for progressives to use our collective voices on national security issues.
