Essential workers are risking their lives in hospitals, in grocery stores, in law enforcement, on public transportation and in so many more places across America to keep our country going as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

Unfortunately, some employers are already rolling back bonuses paid to frontline workers who are risking their health to feed their families -- and keep our country running safely. We need federal legislation to ensure they receive the compensation they deserve.

Last month, Bob joined with other Senate Democrats to propose a "Heroes Fund" that would help reward, retain, and recruit essential workers who will get us through this crisis. Now he needs your help to build support for this plan.

The COVID-19 Heroes Fund proposed by Bob would provide a $25,000 pandemic premium pay increase through the end of the year for essential workers, adding $13 per hour to their pay. It would also provide a $15,000 incentive to recruit healthcare workers to serve in clinics, hospitals, and homes across America, and to bring more first responders to the workforce.

These workers are on the frontlines of this crisis and they deserve our support as they put their health and safety at risk for our country.
