I had some things on my mind I needed to share with you.

I never envisioned myself running for Congress. It wasn't part of the plan. But over the past 5 years — since Trump made that phone call attempting to extort Ukraine — the Republican party has shown the dangerous path they are willing to tread. And we have seen firsthand the threat that extremism poses to our democracy.

So I launched this campaign because I needed to do something — I needed to continue defending our democracy in whatever capacity I could. Because our children and families deserve better than the extremists we have now in Congress, controlling the People’s House.

I’ve only gotten this far with pure grassroots support. Support from folks like you. And I can only pass the finish line with you by my side.

With only 3 days to go until the most critical election of our lifetimes, I am asking
