I attended my first Democrat convention at the age of six in 1960.Back then Democrats were champions of the Constitution and Civil Rights–they opposed forever wars. They prioritized labor and the working class; they stood for government transparency and our environment. They used to stand up against corporate greed and big money interests.What I discovered was a political party I no longer recognized.
