It was wonderful to meet and talk with employees at Honeywell in Glendale, AZ about my time in Congress and answer questions about what is happening in D.C. and what we are doing to help the people of Arizona.

Get the Facts: Cocoa Costs!

This Halloween, candy prices have been scary high. While I hope you all had a great time with family and friends celebrating, it’s no secret that it was a lot more expensive to celebrate this year. Cocoa prices this year were up 88% compared to a year ago, meaning the fan-favorite chocolate candies made with cocoa also increased in price significantly, and that’s not all. Non-chocolate sweets are also up double-digits and the quantity of both chocolate and non-chocolate candies has gone down significantly in stores across the country. That’s not to mention the ways Kamalanomics has increased the prices on treats, clothing, costumes, home décor, and more.

Casework Highlight

A constituent had their bank account hacked and subsequently closed, and they did not receive their 2022 tax refund. After multiple failed attempts to fix it themselves, they contacted our office for assistance. We contacted the IRS, and worked out new payment arrangements, and the constituent received their refund.

Global Entry Process Renewal

If you already have Global Entry for traveling and have not yet renewed your membership, now may be the time. Eligibility to renew your membership begins one year prior to program expiration, but you will still be eligible to use benefits up to 24 months following your membership expiration date.
