You just watched Joey’s firsthand story¹ of barely surviving a gun suicide attempt, and last week saw  Lynnette’s video² about her father’s domestic abuse and gun suicide – both could have been prevented with an Extreme Risk Protection Order. We’ve been bringing you Deadly by Design videos (a project of CeaseFirePA Education Fund), first-person accounts from gun violence survivors advocating for the legislative changes that could have saved their loved ones, for almost a year now.   

It is our honor to uplift these critical narratives, which bring a human face to our Commonwealth’s gun violence crisis. But, I have to tell you, producing them comes at a high price point.

Each Deadly by Design video that we premier costs about $4,000 from start to finish. We know these stories inspire people like you to demand life-saving legislation, so today I’m asking you to participate more deeply in the process. Will you become a monthly sustaining donor, so we can continue producing high-quality, compelling personal narrative videos urging our legislators to prioritize our safety?
