“Voting is fun. Voting is easy. And everyone is doing it!”
When you’re an organizer, that sentence is one of the first things you learn about getting out the vote. The #1 way to make sure people actually go vote is by letting them know those three facts.
Voting is fun. Not only are you exercising your civic duty and your fundamental right by voting, you also get a great sticker!
Voting is easy. Between the 200+ early vote centers in San Diego County, the ballots mailed directly to voters, and the official ballot drop boxes, voting is so easy.
Everyone is doing it. Here in CA, more than five million people have already returned their ballots. It’s a party!
So as you’re going about your weekend, whether you’re canvassing, phonebanking, or just running errands, I hope you’ll tell everyone you talk to that voting is fun, easy, and everyone is doing it – and then remind them to go to IWillVote.com for any and all information they need to go vote!
