It’s Mandela Barnes again.

Many of you may know that I serve as the president of Power to the Polls Wisconsin, an organization dedicated to protecting voter access and ensuring everyone, especially Black, brown, and working class voters, can exercise their right to make their voices heard in this election.

With Election Day on Tuesday, our Get Out the Vote efforts are in full swing across Wisconsin. Our grassroots team is dedicated to reaching as many pro-democracy voters as we can over the next couple days.

That grassroots team is fueled by regular folks who chip in whatever they can, whenever they can. Right now we’re making one last push, and we’re humbly asking for your help.

Recent polls show Wisconsin in a dead heat. Nobody knows who’s going to win here on Tuesday. And Wisconsin has a long history of disenfranchising Democratic voters, and especially voters from communities of color.

That’s why it’s so important that we drive voter turnout through the roof.

So my team has been knocking on voters’ doors, showing up in the community to listen to voters’ concerns, and building the foundation necessary to ensure Black, Brown, and working class voters reach the polls by or before Tuesday.
