It's National Hospital Week and the most important way to mark this moment is to show your support for hospitals and health systems.

Right now, Congress is considering additional steps to take in response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. As they start their next proposal, we need to do everything we can to ensure this legislation prioritizes patient care, by supporting hospitals and health systems.

This community's action last month played a key role in Congress passing the CARES Act, which secured immediate funding for hospitals on the front lines. Will you help continue that support today?

In order to have safe and healthy patients and communities, we need to have safe, resilient hospitals and healthy front line caregivers. The continued increase of COVID-19 cases means hospitals need consistent funding for essential protective gear, child care for doctors' and nurses' children, and additional supplies to increase care capacity.

Many facilities, especially those in rural areas, were stretched thin before the coronavirus outbreak and now they're shouldering the brunt of this pandemic. They're on the front lines, tirelessly caring for their communities -- and they need support from lawmakers to keep going.
