Weekend Reading
Hi John,
Earlier this week, Israel passed two laws [link removed] that would exacerbate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and further harm Palestinians. The laws would bar the U.N. Relief and Works Agency—the main provider of aid to Palestinians—from operating in Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem. The U.S. must act now to stop that from happening. Please join us in urging Congress to stop military assistance to Israel and ensure humanitarian access for Gaza! [link removed]

Majority of Americans want pathway to citizenship for immigrants [link removed]
A strong majority of U.S. voters across party lines want to see a pathway to citizenship for the country's 11 million undocumented immigrants, not mass deportation. That's according to a new survey conducted by the Program for Public Consultation at the University of Maryland. People deserve the same rights as commercial goods and capital to move safely across borders, said AFSC’s Jennifer Piper. "We really wanted to share a message that would remind us that Colorado is stronger because we value every single person's hard work and contribution.” (Big News Network)
