There are 3 days left before Election Day. Heritage Action has worked to make it easy to vote and hard to cheat by supporting election integrity legislation <[link removed]> across the county. Now is the time to exercise your right to vote as an American citizen.
Let’s make sure we do everything we can to encourage our friends and family to go vote on Tuesday:
- Remind at least 5 friends to vote, and encourage their friends to do the same.
- Bring someone to the polls with you - don’t go alone!

Top of Mind
The American people have consistently said that some of the most important issues to them—if not the most important issue— are inflation and the economy. These issues are significant to all Americans, especially the 60% of folks who are living paycheck to paycheck as a result of everyday goods becoming less and less affordable.
The American people are demanding answers and relief. The Heritage Foundation has released an inflation calculator that shows just how much families have been hurting.

Further down on the page, you can even see how inflation has specifically affected any one of America’s 435 Congressional districts. Simply select your state and you can download a by-the-numbers breakdown of all the districts within that state and see how inflation is impacting your district.
After you see the data, share this information with anyone and everyone you know. This tool will help equip you to illustrate how inflation is impacting where you live.
Every State is a Border State
Another consistent top issue is border security, and with good reason. Violent crimes have been committed all across the nation by gangs that have taken advantage of the Biden-Harris administration’s weak border policies, resulting in needless tragedy.
One of the saddest consequences of the Biden–Harris administration’s open border is the victimization of children. Human traffickers are exploiting minimal border protections to smuggle children from around the world into the United States.
Under this administration, the number of known foreign children trafficked into America has risen dramatically. All Americans should be aware of the human cost of an open border.
Eyes on China
The 118th Congress has worked to bring greater awareness to the threat that the Chinese Communist Party poses to the United States. We hope to see the next 119th Congress do the same.
This week, the Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party released a factsheet detailing how American capital is being sent to China and fueling their military expansion and human rights abuses.
Outbound investments is a critical policy area that requires greater oversight. Careless investments can inadvertently fund Chinese Communist military operations intended to target the United States or our allies. Technologies, like semiconductors and artificial intelligence, can give China a distinct tactical advantage over the United States if they are able to develop them at a faster rate.
We should make sure American dollars aren’t being used to undermine our national security.
American investments have also been funneled into China’s ongoing genocide of their Uyghur population and Xi Jinping’s propaganda.
