This election season is affecting many for different reasons. Unfortunately, Trevor’s national survey found that 90% of LGBTQ+ young people said their well-being was negatively impacted due to recent politics.

This number is startling. Any number is too many, however 90% is a crisis. We’re hearing from LGBTQ+ young people that they’re feeling a wide range of emotions, such as uncertainty and anxiety.  The closer we get to election day, we anticipate an increase in the number of contacts we receive by phone, chat, and text.
