Jena Griswold's incompetence has compromised this 2024 election.
Griswold’s most recent failure: Fully 664 complete passwords for voting equipment in 63 of the 64 counties were exposed on the internet for 6 months – since at least April2024 until last week.
Griswold’s BIG LIE: Jena pretends that these are only partial passwords, or one of two passwords needed to access the equipment. No, these were the entire passwords that should be held and secured by the Secretary of State’s office. They allow access into the BIOS system. The BIOS will be explained below in the infographic, but among other things, it initializes hardware during the boot up process. For example, the BIOS determines whether the INTERNET ACCESS is turned on, or if a USB port is activated.
Griswold baselessly claims there is no risk posed by this security lapse. In fact, the systems are now compromised beyond repair. They never were “secure” in the national security sense of the word: They were built in communist China, using foreign workers and with no secure chain of custody from date of manufacture through the date of delivery. It is possible, even likely, enemies of the United States had a backdoor access into these voting systems. Thanks to Jena Griswold's failure, they now have had 6 months access thru the BIOS system - the "front door".
The county clerks only recently learned of this, and many are furious they have been kept in the dark. The following infographic was developed by a committee of concerned citizens, and it offers explanations and questions concerned voters should ask their county clerks and county commissioners.
