Hearing from you will always be the best and most rewarding part of my job. Just this week, I was in the Mount Washington Valley for a town hall on the prescription drug crisis.

We partnered with the Tamworth Community Nurse Association to discuss the impacts of the rising costs of prescription drugs, the opioid crisis, and the challenges people in our communities are facing. Dozens of constituents joined us asking about the efforts I support and work I’m doing with my colleagues to lower the cost of prescription drugs and support more resources for treatment and recovery programs.

Serving the people of the First District is an important task that I don’t take lightly -- especially when skyrocketing healthcare costs put incredible strain on our families.

Each day I work to find solutions that will help our district, and hearing from people directly allows me to effectively serve Granite Staters in Congress. It’s why we have held town halls in Laconia, North Conway, Merrimack, Portsmouth, and Exeter, and we have more in the works.

Over the next few months, my team has events planned to ensure we’re connecting one-on-one with the voters, but we need you with us. You are vital to these outreach efforts, and I can’t thank you enough for the support you’ve shown us. We’re building our voter outreach budget to help power our strategies, but right now, we’re $5,360 short of our goal.
