Donald Trump and his Republican allies have tried again and again to allow insurance companies to deny coverage based on pre-existing conditions. It’s a fight they won’t back down from, despite their best efforts to keep it a secret.

But earlier this week, Speaker Mike Johnson said the quiet part out loud:

“Johnson vows health care overhaul if Republicans win: ‘No Obamacare’” - CNN

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) is a lifeline for millions of Americans who otherwise would not be able to afford the care they need.

Before the ACA, many Americans were denied coverage because of a pre-existing condition — like diabetes, pregnancy, or cancer.

Donald Trump, Mike Johnson, and their extreme Republican allies want to drag our country back to a darker time. Make no mistake: Repealing the Affordable Care Act would put the health care of tens of millions of Americans at risk, drive up health insurance costs, and allow insurance companies to deny coverage over something as minor as a childhood asthma diagnosis.

Look, extreme MAGA Republicans think they can get away with making life harder for working families in order to serve the interests of their well-off donors — it’s up to us to prove them wrong on Election Day.

If you believe no American should be denied health insurance because of a pre-existing condition, then I’m asking for your support with just days to go until Election Day. We must win here in CO-07 to prevent Mike Johnson from winning a majority and ripping away care from families that need it most:

There is no realistic world where Democrats flip the House blue without winning right here in Colorado’s 7th District, so I’m grateful for any support you can spare to our campaign. Thank you for taking action and standing up for our health care.
