It has been the greatest honor of my professional life to serve Kansans during my time in Congress, and I would not be where I am today without the support of grassroots conservatives like yourself. President Ronald Reagan reminded us that, “Freedom is a fragile thing and it’s never more than one generation away from extinction.” Each of you has played a vital role in defending that freedom and ensuring that it is passed down to our children and grandchildren. Your work organizing town halls, knocking doors in your communities, and calling your neighbors to support conservative candidates is more important now than ever. As a 6th generation Kansan, I have been shaped into the man I am today because of our shared conservative values. And make no mistake, those values are at risk in the upcoming election. Our economy is in crisis as small businesses in Kansas and across the entire country are struggling under crippling inflation, but Democrats want more regulation and more reckless government spending. Our border is in complete disarray and deadly fentanyl is flooding into our communities, but Democrats want to spend their time enforcing DEI mandates and allowing men into women’s sports. Our adversaries are taking advantage of our weakness on the world stage as conflicts arise everywhere we look and China works to undermine us, but Democrats want to lecture Israel on how they should defend themselves from an Iranian regime and radical terrorists who want to see them wiped off the face of the map. Kansans like you and me can clearly see the disaster of the Biden-Harris Administration’s failed leadership, and we know that it is past time for change if we want to save our country. We need conservative leaders in office at the local, state, and federal level, and we need them now. We need President Trump, members of Congress, and state legislators who will fight to conserve our nation for the next generation. Now is the time to talk with your neighbor, support our Republican candidates at the voting booth, and pray for our country and its leaders. Whatever challenges we face, I remain optimistic about our future because of Kansans like yourself who embody our state’s motto, “to the stars, through difficulties”. Jake LaTurner Congressman (KS-CD2)     KSGOP Statewide Bus Tour Rolls On The KSGOP Bus Tour crew is all exhausted, but we have loved our time on the bus together and with our Kansas Republican Conservative Patriots all over Kansas. We intentionally selected several of our smaller cities to bring the bus tour to because our smaller communities tend to get overlooked. As your Chairman it makes me very happy to include so many and to see the smiles on people’s faces as we drive through a town or when folks take pictures of the bus. That is how you Get Out The Vote. These principles are not only values; they are essential to preserving what makes America exceptional. These actions, however small they may seem, are vital to our mission. If you’re hesitant due to potential backlash, remember this: openly speaking your beliefs is your right. I wear my conservative views on my sleeve as a bold, unapologetic Republican. And to be sure there are those who oppose us and are simply loud, but that doesn't make the brave. This doesn’t mean we should act without kindness or compassion, but standing firm on our principles should never be a point of apology. Be bold. Now is the time to act. Let’s leave this moment energized and fired-up. We have a job to do in getting President Trump elected as the 47th President of the United States, as well as supporting Republicans up and down the ballot across Kansas.
