John,
As someone who tunes into daily election coverage, I’ve noticed a troubling pattern: Lately, there’s been radio silence on hunger.
Thirteen World Food Prize laureates recently expressed their shock and disappointment. After decades of progress, they warn, world hunger is getting worse.
Yet during the most consequential election of our lifetime, candidates have entirely ignored this threat to kids’ futures.
Please, remind our leaders that hungry children and families need support NOW. [[link removed]]

In their statement, the laureates ask us to consider how each candidate plans to tackle global hunger before we cast our votes.
Do they intend to support stronger international food aid programs in the Farm Bill? Or would they cut funding for its lifesaving programs?
John, with a new slate of leaders entering Capitol Hill soon, the answers to these questions will determine whether we can turn the tide on hunger. The Farm Bill is critical to this effort, helping families survive crisis and giving communities the tools to feed themselves.
On behalf of children everywhere, urge your lawmakers to take action and fight the hunger crisis! [[link removed]]
Thanks for speaking up one last time before Election Day.
