Irving, TX - I recently toured Smart Start, headquartered in Grapevine, and saw the latest tools to prevent drunk driving. We had a productive discussion about opportunities to work together to keep our community safe.
On Monday, I met with local business leaders from the Greater Keller Chamber of Commerce to discuss my work to help small businesses stay afloat in the high inflation Biden-Harris economy and help working families keep more money in their wallets.
Tuesday, I spoke with students from Southern Methodist University about the importance of public service and how I’m working to advocate for Texas-24 families and job creators.
Wednesday morning, I spoke with North Texans from the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Chamber of Commerce. We discussed my work in Congress to support Texas-24 families by cutting taxes and regulatory red tape to help our community thrive.
After, I met with Rob Miles, co-founder of Momentum Technologies, to discuss the company’s advancements in processing and recovering critical metals and minerals which are important for reducing our dependence on China. I was thrilled to hear about their new headquarters in Carrollton.
Thursday morning, I spoke at the grand opening of Envision Dallas' new location in Farmers Branch. This state-of-the-art facility has revitalized a long-abandoned call center and created over 100 jobs for blind or visually impaired North Texans.

Texas-24 Work of the Week
Today, I introduced the Family Plus Health Care Act to give families more flexibility for health care. Through job loss and divorce, some parents have found themselves losing private health insurance. This bill will close this gap by allowing adult children to add their parents to their insurance plan.
This week’s Texas-24 Hometown Hero is Colleyville Heritage High School graduate and Kansas City Royals player Bobby Witt Jr. Thank you, Bobby, for inspiring North Texans of all ages!
