In a new policy brief, the Wilson Center’s Environmental Change and Security Program and Maternal Health Initiative explore the relationships between climate finance, gender equality, and sexual and reproductive health, and identify opportunities to include relevant services in climate financing mechanisms and projects. The 2024 Brazilian municipal elections could mark an essential milestone in the fight against disinformation. The spread of false information has grown in polarizing politics and weakening public trust in democratic institutions. The Brazilian Judiciary has implemented innovative measures to mitigate the harmful effects of disinformation and ensure the integrity of the electoral process.
