I know we’re all feeling a mix of emotions about the upcoming election. I’m very torn - I feel hopeful but also have a sense of dread, too.

I think both the presidential and our race are a choice… between hope and fear.

I’m hopeful Democrats can win. We’re running on important policies like protecting fundamental freedoms and an economy that works for everyone. I know that if voters hear that message we win.

However, as we saw in 2016, voters aren’t just hearing our positive message. They are inundated with negative ads spewing hate meant to divide us from our neighbors. You only have to listen to the most recent Trump rally to see it. This is why I’m also fearful for our country. What happens if Trump wins? And what if he has control of Congress?

Over the next few days, we have the opportunity to impact the direction of our country. On November 6th it’s too late.
