John,

We're approaching the mid-point of this quarter, and it's a good time to take stock of where we are, and what we'll need to do to keep pace as the election cycle heats up.

The good news is that we beat our April goal and have started May at a very healthy pace. We're also encouraged by recent polling that shows Arizona Democrats on the rise, and by new ratings from political forecasters that put David Schweikert among the ten most vulnerable GOP House members.

But with our increased momentum comes heightened expectations -- and more outside spending from the groups determined to keep Schweikert in office. This quarter needs to be our biggest one yet.

We're looking to raise $7,500 more online by Friday, so that we remain on pace for a strong finish by June 30 and don't have to scramble at the end. Anything you can pitch in now will help immensely.

It's not just about the final number raised this quarter -- pace matters too. We never want to be short on resources should unexpected events arise.

We're taking nothing for granted in this campaign, and because Hiral isn't taking money from corporate PACs, the donations of grassroots supporters like you really matter.

So please donate if you can! We're all in this together.
