We just got some great news about our 2020 fight. NBC News is reporting that “the battle for the Senate seems to have tilted in the Democrats' favor, according to polls and campaign analysts.”
The 2020 map is shifting -- and Democrats’ path to taking back the Senate just got clearer.
This crisis has made it exceedingly clear that we need real leadership -- not only in the White House, but in the Senate. And we aren’t getting that from Mitch McConnell and the GOP.
Instead of continuing to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic with increased testing, hazard pay for essential workers, or support for our farmers and small businesses, Mitch McConnell brought the Senate back to D.C. to confirm his former intern to the second highest court in the country.
This is why we need a Democratic Senate, John -- and it’s within our reach. But removing Mitch McConnell from leadership won’t be easy. We need to keep fighting every day.
